Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

Augusta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Augusta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I ordered the taro milk tea and it was absolutely lovely!! The work environment is very pleasant, the employees are very attentive and friendly. Very kid friendly and would definitely recommend this place if youβre looking for good boba and macroons!ππππ

Very disappointing experience. We bought tea and macarons, and one of the macarons was clearly mushy and wet, as if it had gone bad or been stored improperly. When we politely brought it to the managerβs attention, instead of apologizing or replacing it, she demanded that we pay for another one. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional the entire time. She was throwing things around while working, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for both customers and employees. She also spoke disrespectfully not only to us, but to her coworkers as well. Customer service was terrible, and the way the situation was handled showed a complete lack of professionalism and care. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

I like the drinks and the macaroons but the tall cooler that has the mango and ice sundae flavor keeps the macaroons fresher than the long cooler I wish they would change it so all the macaroons can be fresh and soft. But as far as the workers .. their horrible not friendly at all I had to say thank you about six times before anyone said youβre welcome Iβve walked up to the counter multiple times as they were having a conversation they can continue with their conversation without saying anything to me .. there has been only one employee that was nice to me and that was the guy that works there One time I came a little bit before they were about to close and I was told that theyβre only doing macaroons but a security walk past and one of them employees was like oh you can get whatever you want he was like I want a smoothie and they made him a smoothie but me a pain. Customer couldnβt buy a smoothie because they were closing in a few minutesβ¦

Waited at least an hour because they had to cook the tapioca pearls before they even started making the milk tea I ordered. Per multiple sources, it usually take approximately 30 minutes to cook tapioca pearls. They also donβt apologize for the wait either and just handed us our order nonchalantly. Iβd recommend never ordering from this store unless itβs Macarons. The only review Iβve ever given less than 4 stars, let alone the lowest possible rating.

The wait to order wasnβt horribly long, but the wait to receive our drinks was at least 10 minutes. I think we chose the wrong day and time to visit, as the mall itself was busier than usual. My Oreo milk tea was delicious, but the crumbs gave it an interesting texture.
